We invite aspiring singers, both children and adults, to join the chorus in The Snow Queen. This newly commissioned community work will be exclusively staged at The Cube Wodonga on 3 and 4 November. Registrations to participate in the production are now open.

Accessible Performances

Accessibility is a big part of Victorian Opera's commitment to inspiring the community. In 2018, Victorian Opera will provide Tactile Tours and Audio Described performances The Magic Pudding - The Opera, Hansel and Gretel, William Tell, and Pelleas and Melisande.

The annual Relaxed Performance is designed for children with various access requirements. In 2018, Hansel and Gretel on 12 June will be a Relaxed Performance. See the Accessibility page for more details on Tactile Tours, Audio Described and Relaxed Performances.

Taking opera around the state is integral to the company's commitment to creating opera for all Victorians. In 2017, our Education production Hansel and Gretel will delight another generation of school children on its tour to Mildura, Bendigo and Sale. Audiences will also be treated to a concert, Heroes and Villains, a two hour celebration of some of opera's greatest characters accompanied by a 15-piece orchestra.
