Victorian Opera can support you in the delivery of your curriculum. Have your students experienced the power of an operatic voice in their classroom?
Do you have a VCE class who are interested in the process of set design? Would you like a professional Director to give your Drama class inspiration?
From introducing the basic concepts of opera to younger primary pupils right through to working with your VCE class on text development we can create a bespoke program in partnership with you.
As Victoria’s only professional opera company, we have a broad range of creative and performing artists working with us year round as well as a group of experienced workshop leaders in our Education Associates.
Past workshops have included:
• Participative introductory sessions for primary pupils led by an Education Associate and singers
• Advanced music analysis for International Baccalaureate pupils
• Masterclasses taken by leading voice teachers in Melbourne
