Biography

Paul Jackson is a multi-award-winning designer who has worked with Australia’s leading arts organisations and internationally, lecturing in design at the University of Melbourne, RMIT University and the Victorian College of the Arts. His work has featured in festivals and programmes in the United States, Asia, Europe and the United Kingdom. Paul’s recent work includes: Cassandra/Echo & Narcissus, Don Giovanni, Marriage of Figaro (Victorian Opera), Lorelei (Victorian Opera, Opera Queensland); Carmen (Opera Australia); The Truth, I'm Darling, Arbus and West, Gloria, The Children, Home, I'm Darling (Melbourne Theatre Company); The Beauty Queen of Leeane (Sydney Theatre Company); Stop Girl (Belvoir); Cloudstreet (Malthouse). Paul was Artistic Associate at Malthouse Theatre from 2007–2013. Paul has received a Helpmann Award, two Sydney Theatre Awards, three APDG Awards, seven Green Room Awards and a Critics’ Award for Theatre in Scotland.
