Heather Fairbairn is a British-Australian director and dramaturg working at the intersection of theatre, opera, film, and video installation.
Heather is currently the Artistic Associate of NORPA (Northern Rivers Performing Arts Inc). Directing credits for opera include: The Barber of Seville (Opera Australia); The Magic Flute (European Network of Opera Academies (enoa), Escuela de Música Reina Sofía, Fondation Calouste-Gulbenkian, Queen Elizabeth Music Chapel, Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg); Biographica (Lyric Opera of Melbourne).
