Sarah Prestwidge, an acclaimed First Nations soprano, holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Sydney Conservatorium of Music and a Master of Music from Royal Northern College of Music with a full scholarship.

Sarah also received the Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarship and won the Lady Galleghan London Award. Sarah joined the Opera Holland Park chorus in 2022 and has returned to cover principal roles. Sarah also joined UK’s National Opera Studio Diverse Voices programme in 2023-24.

In the UK, Sarah has performed several roles including, Queen of the Night (Mozart) Susanna (Mozart), Controller (Dove), Zerbinetta (Strauss), Rosina (Rossini) and Adele (Strauss). As a proud Darug woman, Sarah is passionate about providing quality music education to First Nations people and has worked closely with Short Black Opera.
