In 1987, Bob and Betty Salzer established a foundation with a simple yet powerful vision: to support the arts and share their enduring love of opera.

Forty years on, The Robert Salzer Foundation has become a cornerstone of Victoria’s cultural life, contributing more than $15 million to help bring the transformative power of art to audiences, individuals and organisations across the state.

To mark their anniversary, Victorian Opera raises a toast to our founding partner with a gala concert conducted by Richard Mills AO and starring globally adored soprano Jessica Pratt in her long-awaited return to Melbourne. Join us and our family of artists as we celebrate The Robert Salzer Foundation’s extraordinary legacy with an evening of unforgettable music.
