Bunjil Place is an arts and entertainment facility built by the City of Casey to bring the community together and celebrate the arts in Melbourne’s south-east corridor. It brings together an unprecedented mix of facilities including an outdoor community plaza, theatre, multipurpose studio, function centre, library, gallery and City of Casey Customer Service Centre… all in one special place.

Bunjil Place

  • The 846 seats throughout the stalls and dress circle have been carefully designed to enhance the experience of the audience and present an unobstructed view of the full proscenium arch.
  • The theatre also features a viewing room, where audience members can watch the action through soundproof glass and still hear the audio via the room’s PA system.
  • The acoustic timber panels are balanced to cleanly distribute sound to the very back seats.

Parking

Bunjil Place is conveniently accessible via the Monash Freeway (exit 22) or Princess Highway. The venue is no more than half an hour from Frankston, Ringwood, Pakenham and the middle-ring suburbs, and an easy 40 minutes on the M1 from the Melbourne CBD.

There is an open car parking area within the precinct with 2-hour, 3-hour and all-day spots available. Accessible parking bays as well as 5-minute drop-off/pick-up areas can be accessed off Patrick Northeast Drive. Guests should familiarise themselves with the map below before arriving for an event at the facility.

Public Transport

Coming from Melbourne CBD? Simply jump on the Pakenham Line to Narre Warren Station. From there you can take a short bus ride on the 835 or 841 to Westfield Fountain Gate (Overland Drive).

You’ll find the venue across the road – next to Casey Arc Swimming Pools.
